The Bramble Mere Social

Throwback to June 2017. Myself and 5 others were booked on Bramble Mere for 2 nights. The lake is situated in the Cotswolds and is an exclusive booking only venue.

The clock struck 5pm on this Friday afternoon in July, i was out the office like a shot, I raced home, loaded the car and I was heading to the park lake (standard Friday evening behaviour really)

New lake success

I joined a new club at the start of the season, made a couple of non fishing visits (as you do) to suss the place out, spoke to a few anglers etc, I got mixed feelings as some people said it was hard going, and other people had told me it was good for a bite. There was only one thing to do of course, fish it and find out!
